Weddingkart uses a pay-per-wedding model — there is no monthly subscription. Each wedding requires its own purchase. You choose the plan that fits the wedding’s needs, pay once, and the features are available for that wedding immediately.

Plans

All current plan, pack and add-on prices are on the pricing page: weddingkart.co/pricing. The Wallet screen in the app always shows the price that applies to your wedding.

Free

Every feature is available to explore with no credit card required. You can add guests, create events, set up RSVPs, and test the full platform. Each new wedding starts with some free credits. The main limitation: you cannot send messages to more than 5 guests at a time. If you try to send to more than 5 guests on a free wedding, you see “Since its a free wedding, you are not allowed to send message to more than 5 guests at a time”. Choose 5 guests or fewer, or buy a plan. The limit protects the sending number from being flagged by WhatsApp for bulk messages from unpaid accounts.

Basic

Best for weddings that are just a few days away and only need WhatsApp messaging. Includes:
  • A WhatsApp credit allowance
  • Two-way chat with guests
  • Multiple team members
Does not include: RSVP collection, travel ticket collection, ID card collection, voice calls, AI voice agents, Google Sheets sync. See current prices at weddingkart.co/pricing.

Standard

Best for most weddings where you need to manage the full guest lifecycle. Includes everything in Basic, plus:
  • A larger WhatsApp credit allowance than Basic
  • WhatsApp-based RSVP
  • ID card collection
  • Travel ticket collection
  • Google Sheets sync
  • Guest attributes
  • Voice calls and AI voice agents (paid for with credits as you use them, see below)
See current prices at weddingkart.co/pricing.

Prices outside India

Plans are priced differently outside India. Outside India, plans are priced in US dollars for your country and GST is not added. The Wallet screen always shows the price that applies to your wedding. See current prices at weddingkart.co/pricing.

Offers

When an offer is running, the Wallet shows a banner about it, and the plan’s regular price is shown struck through next to the offer price. The price on the Pay button is always the amount you’re charged. Current offers are on weddingkart.co/pricing.

Season pack (5 weddings)

For planners and agencies running several weddings a season. You get 5 weddings with every Standard feature, plus a pool of WhatsApp credits shared across the five. It works out cheaper per wedding than buying five Standard plans. The same pack is available on your own WhatsApp number (see below), with unlimited messages instead of credits. The Season pack is not bought in the app. Message Weddingkart on WhatsApp at +91 92176 10045 to set it up. The Wallet plan list shows it as Season pack (5 weddings) for reference. Need more than 5 weddings? Buy another pack, or ask about larger volumes. See current prices at weddingkart.co/pricing.

Plans on your own WhatsApp number

If the wedding sends from your own WhatsApp Business number instead of Weddingkart’s shared Wedding Invite number (see Your own WhatsApp number), messages are unlimited. There is no credit meter, because Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account for each message. These weddings see their own plans in the Wallet: See current prices at weddingkart.co/pricing. Two optional add-ons, bought by messaging Weddingkart on WhatsApp. Both are a Weddingkart partner’s own service: you pay the partner directly and they give you the receipt.
  • WhatsApp Business setup, one-time per business, paid directly to the partner. A Weddingkart partner sets up your Meta Business account, gets your business verified and your display name approved, and connects your number. It’s charged once per business, not per wedding or per number. The exact amount depends on whether you already have a Meta Business account (business.facebook.com) and a website.
  • Custom WhatsApp templates, per wedding, up to 15 templates, paid directly to the partner. A Weddingkart partner writes the templates for your wedding (invites, RSVP, travel, reminders, thank-yous) and takes each one through Meta approval. Priced per wedding, not per template.
See current add-on prices at weddingkart.co/pricing.

Support

Every plan includes self-serve support: WhatsApp chat support 10am to 7pm IST, a reply within one business day, and bug fixes. For hands-on help, add one of these per wedding (on either sending option). Both are delivered by independent Weddingkart partners. You pay the partner directly and they give you the receipt:
  • Assisted, per wedding, paid directly to the partner. 90 minutes of a Weddingkart partner’s time in total: an onboarding call, your guest list imported for you, one announcement set up from existing templates, and on call on the wedding day. Extra time can be added. You still run the app yourself. Writing new templates isn’t included.
  • Managed, per wedding, paid directly to the partner. A Weddingkart partner runs the app for you end to end and coordinates with you over WhatsApp.
In the web app, Admins and Members can also ask for help from the wedding’s home screen: tap the Partner help tile (shown when an offer is available for the wedding), pick the option and tap Request … on WhatsApp. The Weddingkart team replies on WhatsApp within a few hours and assigns your partner. Or message +91 92176 10045 on WhatsApp to add either. See current prices at weddingkart.co/pricing.

How credits work

WhatsApp messages are sent using credits. The number of credits consumed per message depends on the guest’s country:
  • Indian guests: the lowest rate.
  • International guests: cost more, based on WhatsApp’s per-country pricing. Tap What’s a credit? on the Wallet screen to see the rates for every country.
  • Personalised media: messages with media personalised for each guest cost extra credits per guest.
The cost depends on the guest’s country, and the app shows the exact credits on the review screen before anything is sent. Current rates are on weddingkart.co/pricing.
Rates follow WhatsApp’s own pricing and can change. The What’s a credit? list on the Wallet screen is always the current source.
A few details:
  • The country comes from the guest’s phone number. A guest with a UK number costs the UK rate, even if they live in India. See International guests.
  • Personalised media adds extra credits per guest on top of the country rate. The review screen shows the total before you send.
  • Credits you buy are added to what you already have. The free credits don’t disappear when you pay. The plan’s credits are added on top.

Voice calls

Voice calls and AI voice agents are not part of any plan’s message allowance. They are pay-as-you-go: you are charged only for the call time you use, plus taxes. The cost depends on the guest’s country. Calls to numbers outside India cost more. The review screen shows the exact credits before anything is sent. Current rates are on weddingkart.co/pricing. In the web app, the Wallet plan list ends with a note showing the current per-minute credit rates for voice calls and the AI Voice Agent in India. The rates are fetched live from Weddingkart each time you open the screen, so the note stays current.
  • The charge comes from the wedding’s credits. Top-up rates are on the pricing page.
  • Credits are set aside when the calls start. Weddingkart reserves enough credits for every selected guest’s call to run to its maximum length. If the wedding doesn’t have that many, the calls don’t start and you see “Insufficient credits. Available: …, Required: …”. Top up and try again.
  • Unused credits come back. For AI voice agent calls, after each call you’re charged for the time it actually lasted and the rest of the reserved credits comes back to the wedding. Calls that fail to go through are refunded.
Credits are tied to the specific wedding they were purchased for. You cannot transfer credits from one wedding to another yourself. The one exception is the Season pack: its credits are shared across your five weddings, and Weddingkart moves unused credits between them when you ask on WhatsApp. If you run out of credits mid-wedding, you can top up at any time from the Wallet screen — no plan upgrade required.

Checking credits before a send

Weddingkart checks your balance before every announcement. If you don’t have enough credits for everyone you selected, nothing is sent and you see: “You don’t have enough credits to send this Announcement. Available credits: 120. You need approx 340 credits” (with your own numbers). To fix it, top up at least the difference from the Wallet, or choose fewer guests. A send never stops halfway because credits ran out — the check happens before anything goes out. Scheduled announcements are checked again when they’re due to send. If the wedding doesn’t have enough credits at that moment, the scheduled send fails, nothing is sent, and you’re notified. The message reads “Insufficient credits. Available: …, Required: …”. Top up, then schedule or send it again.

Refunds for undelivered messages

If WhatsApp reports that a message failed — for example, because the number isn’t on WhatsApp — the credits for that message are returned to the wedding automatically. This includes the extra credit for personalised media. You don’t need to request it. Refunds appear in the wedding’s credit history as Refund (failed msg).
Credits are only returned for messages WhatsApp marks as failed. Messages that were delivered but not read aren’t refunded.

Topping up credits

Once a wedding’s plan is paid for, the Wallet screen shows Top up credits instead of the plans.
  • Top-up rates and the minimum top-up are on the pricing page: weddingkart.co/pricing. In India, GST is added to top-ups.
  • Top-ups are available on the web app and the Android app. They aren’t available in the iOS app yet.
As you type an amount, the screen shows how many credits you’ll get, plus GST. Before you type, it shows the minimum amount and the rate. Top-ups are only offered after the plan has been bought; on a free wedding, buy a plan first.
On an iPhone, top up from the web app instead. In the iOS app you see “Top-ups aren’t available on iOS yet.”

Making a payment

1

Open the Wallet

Open the wedding in the Weddingkart app and tap Wallet.
2

Select your plan

Under Choose your plan, pick Basic or Standard based on what the wedding requires. If your guest list and wedding date are set, the app marks one plan as Recommended — Basic when the wedding is 14 days away or less, Standard otherwise.
3

Review the total

Confirm the amount before paying. The total includes GST where it applies.
4

Tap Pay

Tap the Pay button, which shows the total, to proceed to payment.
5

Complete payment

On the web app and Android, pay through Razorpay via UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking. In the iOS app, plans are purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase.
6

Features unlock immediately

As soon as payment is confirmed, the message limit is lifted and all plan features become available for that wedding.
Any Admin or Member on the wedding can pay. View Only team members can’t. See Team Collaboration.

What you see after paying

On Android, after a successful payment the app shows Confirming payment… with Do not close the app for a few seconds, then one of:
  • “Payment confirmed. Credits added.” — you’re done.
  • “Payment received. Credits will appear in a few minutes.” — the payment went through, and your credits are still being added. You don’t need to pay again.
If the payment doesn’t go through, you may see “Payment did not go through. Please try again.” or “Network error during payment. Please retry.” Closing the payment screen yourself cancels without any message. On the web app, you land on a page that says Payment Successful! or Payment Failed! — the second one reads “It seems we have not received your payment.” On iOS, Apple handles the payment. You may see:
  • “Credits added!” — the purchase is complete.
  • “Purchase pending approval — credits will arrive once it’s approved.” — Apple is waiting for the purchase to be approved. Credits are added once it is.
  • “Could not confirm your purchase yet. Your credits will appear shortly.” — Apple charged you and Weddingkart is still confirming it. Don’t buy again.
  • “Purchase canceled.” — you closed Apple’s payment sheet.
  • “In-app purchases are unavailable on this device.” — this iPhone can’t make in-app purchases right now. Pay on the web app instead.
If Apple refunds an in-app purchase, the credits from that purchase are removed from the wedding.

Credit history

The Wallet shows an Activity section with the wedding’s payments and credit use, and All Credit Transactions for the full list. Entries include:
  • Payments, marked Razorpay or Apple In-App Purchase, with the credits bought and a Success or Pending status
  • WhatsApp → 120 guests (for example) for an announcement send
  • Voice call, Voice announcement, and Scheduled message usage
  • Refund (failed msg) when credits come back for an undelivered message
If you haven’t paid or sent anything yet, you see No payments yet or No credit usage yet.

Invoices and receipts

Weddingkart asks for your email address in the app. It’s used to send invoices, payment receipts, and occasional updates. If you need a GST invoice with your company’s details, contact Weddingkart with the wedding’s details and your GSTIN.

After the wedding

A wedding stays active during the event period and for 10 days after the wedding date. After that it becomes read-only: you can no longer send announcements or change the guest list. The app shows a countdown banner before this happens, with options to send a final message, extend the wedding, or download your data. Only an Admin can extend the wedding.

Troubleshooting

Payments can take a few minutes to confirm. If you saw “Payment received. Credits will appear in a few minutes.” or “Could not confirm your purchase yet. Your credits will appear shortly.”, wait a few minutes, then reopen the Wallet. Don’t pay again — a second payment would be a second charge. If the plan still isn’t active after that, contact Weddingkart with the payment reference from your bank, UPI app, or Apple receipt.
Top up from the Wallet on the web app or Android. Credits are added right after payment, and you can send again straight away. Nothing is sent half-way: if a send needs more credits than you have, it’s blocked before any message goes out.
If the wedding didn’t have enough credits when it was due, the scheduled send failed and nothing was sent. Top up, then send or reschedule it.
The wedding is on the free plan. Buy Basic or Standard from the Wallet to send to everyone.
Top-ups only appear after the wedding’s plan is paid for. On an iPhone, open the web app to top up.
Messages to numbers outside India cost more credits, based on the country code of the guest’s number. Check What’s a credit? on the Wallet for each country’s rate.

Common questions

Top up credits from the Wallet screen on the web app or Android. You don’t need to upgrade your plan — just top up your credits and keep sending.
Once a plan is paid for, the Wallet screen only offers credit top-ups — there is no in-app plan switch. Contact Weddingkart if you need to change your plan.
No. Pricing is per wedding, regardless of guest count. Whether you have 100 guests or 2,000, the plan price stays the same — only the message count matters.
There is no fixed time limit. The wedding remains active during the event period and for 10 days after the wedding date. After that it becomes read-only: you can no longer send announcements or change the guest list. The app shows a countdown banner before this happens, with options to send a final message, extend the wedding, or download your data.
No. Credits are tied to the specific wedding they were purchased for and cannot be transferred to another wedding. The top-up screen mentions transferring unused credits to your next wedding — there’s no way to do this in the app, so contact Weddingkart if you have unused credits on a finished wedding. Personal referral credits are different: they can be moved into any paid wedding you created. See Referral Program.
Yes. When WhatsApp reports a message as failed, its credits are returned automatically and show as Refund (failed msg).
No. Outside India, plans are priced in US dollars and GST isn’t added.
Adding team members and syncing to Google Sheets or Drive don’t use credits. Credits are used when you send WhatsApp messages or make voice calls. See Two-way chat for how replies to guests work.
No. The plan price is per wedding. Only how many messages you send, and to which countries, affects how many credits you use.
The cost depends on the guest’s country, and the app shows the exact credits on the review screen before anything is sent. Tap What’s a credit? on the Wallet for every country’s rate, or see weddingkart.co/pricing. Personalised media adds extra credits per guest in every country.
Weddingkart’s Terms of Service say payments are non-refundable once WhatsApp messages have been sent for the wedding. Credits for individual messages that WhatsApp reports as failed come back automatically as Refund (failed msg). If you were charged twice or paid by mistake, contact Weddingkart with the payment reference.
On the web app and Android, you can pay with UPI, a credit or debit card, or net banking — if one card doesn’t go through, try UPI, net banking, or another card. If you saw Payment Failed! or “Payment did not go through. Please try again.”, Weddingkart didn’t receive that payment, so try again. If money left your account but the plan isn’t active, don’t pay again — see Money was deducted but my plan isn’t active above.
